Field Worker - PHL

Job Purpose:

As a First Line Sales Manager (FLSM) for GSK in the Philippines, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets, enhance customer relationships, and drive business growth within your designated region. You will play a critical role in implementing sales strategies, coaching your team, and ensuring alignment with GSK's values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that aligns with GSK's values.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize market penetration and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure effective execution of marketing and promotional activities.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Address customer needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Represent GSK at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with GSK's policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for the sales team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Experience working in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
  • Knowledge of the local healthcare market and regulatory environment.
