The Sales Management leader, Consumer Audio, EMEA (former VP & GM) is responsible for growing the Consumer Audio business in a timely and profitable manner with customers throughout the European & Middle East Region. This position represents the Company's overall regional business strategies and works to implement and affect changes in the daily work environment by leading all sales, business development, and operations activities.
The role will manage a P&L for the EMEA Regions and translate corporate, divisional, and functional goals into team goals and assign them to the appropriate team members. Key performance metrics include top line sales growth, healthy contribution margin expansion, operating profit, and customer satisfaction, acquisition, and retention. This position requires its incumbent candidate to have excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills. Additionally, this role will have active and constant engagement with cross-functional teams to get the support needed to drive business growth.
Your Team:
You will lead a team of more than 300 employees through the EMEA Region.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the EMEA Region for the Consumer Division operationally, with full profit & loss responsibility.
- Manage working capital to achieve business unit targets.
- Increase sales & margins across all product categories and position the business successfully in the local market.
- Develop and manage go-to-market decisions including channels, pricing and retailing.
- Monitor the performance of the product portfolio and identify market trends and opportunities to grow.
- Establish a long-term strategy, managing budgets to support overall business objectives.
- Direct the development and implementation of trade marketing, local marketing activation and sales strategies with clear return on investment parameters that highlight growth targets at appropriate margins to achieve objectives.
- Instill discipline regarding key metrics, including forecasting and market planning.
- Develop an infrastructure that will improve organizational capabilities, better serve customers/markets and continue to evolve business processes and procedures.
- Drive a performance-based culture with clearly articulated individual accountabilities and business goals.
- Work with GPLM to understand specific product technology, roadmaps, and plan execution.
- Support the transformation of the Organization, including the implementation of new tools such as N-ERP, AI & Digitalization of processes.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Staff train, develop and compensate management and employees appropriately to achieve the overall business goals.
- Attract and retain top talent in the Region.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Sales Management with a proven track record of growing and sustaining sales revenue.
- Proficient in both English and ideally in at least one other European language.
- Solid team management and coaching experience.
- Proven experience in creating and executing a sales strategy in a collaborative / team player style.
- High Financial Aptitude: successful experience in a P&L responsibility role with strong business acumen; analytical and number-driven decision making.
- Experience participating in matrixed, global, cross-functional teams, which require collaborative planning with members of other sales groups, product groups, operations, marketing, etc.

- Talent and aptitude to analyse and solve problems independently.
- Prior experience in consumer electrics or FMCG industries.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
