This position is responsible for supporting all commercial and account-related activities as well as business growth strategy for S-OEM, in collaboration with other sales management team members.
The role will support the planning and execution of sales management for Harman Automotive products, including Car Audio, TCU, IVI, Digital Cockpit, ADAS, and future products.
This position reports to the Sales Director and does not have direct reports.
Major responsibilities are:
Settle and amend Non-Disclosure Agreements, Development Agreements, Purchase Agreements, and other business contracts with customer in a collaborative manner with legal team
Develop future business opportunities pipeline, competitor information analysis, benchmarking, etc. to support business growth strategy
The scope of the role is within Japan. Strong interpersonal skills in Japanese and English are required, along with a good level of technical knowledge to learn Harman's products after joining. Key competencies include result-driven mindset and strong collaboration skills.

Business experience working with Japanese OEMs
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years working experience in Japanese automotive industry
Be willing to work in an office in Ota, Gunma or Tokyo
Be willing to travel up to 25%, domestic and international travel
Sales experience in Tier 1 supplier working with JOEMs
Engineering background (SW, HW or ME)
