About The Role
This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end General Trade business for the assigned territory. The responsibilities include executing strategic sales plans, achieving sales targets, and utilizing relevant tools and processes to monitor and improve sales performance.
What You Will Do
Responsible for driving overall revenue growth through Distribution and Retail channels within the assigned territory/region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retail partners to support business expansion, profitability, and long-term growth.
Ensure effective retail presence and visibility of Harman Lifestyle SKUs across General Trade channels through efficient distribution and channel management.
Implement sales and channel development strategies to enhance revenue generation, market penetration, and brand visibility in the region.
Work closely with marketing and support teams to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities, service operations, and replacement processes.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and channel performance, while preparing regular distributor purchase and sales reports for business analysis.
Manage and guide the RSO/DSO/ISP team within the assigned territory, focusing on team productivity, engagement, and development.
What You Need To Be Successful
8–10+ years of progressive experience in Sales and Business Development across diverse markets and channel ecosystems.
Strong strategic and execution capabilities with the ability to analyze business challenges, develop actionable plans, and drive successful implementation.
Good understanding of consumer products, market trends, and customer behavior, with the ability to create effective retail and sales strategies.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple projects and deliver data-driven business solutions.
Excellent collaboration, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and internet-based tools, combined with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
Bonus Points If You Have
Bachelor's degree is mandatory; MBA will be an added advantage.
Extensive experience in Sales and Distribution across multiple markets, preferably within electronics manufacturing, consumer electronics, computer hardware, or related industries.
Strong customer relationship management skills with a proven ability to identify new business opportunities and negotiate complex business deals effectively.
Ability to provide market insights and collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support business growth strategies and successful product launches.
