The Global Account Executive is a key role within the team, working alongside the wider account team and the digital, trading, strategy, and regional-hub teams to ensure the client has optimal media support in place.

This role is to work across one of the Network's largest clients in automotive. It is within the central global team based in London that coordinates media activities across four regions worldwide, working closely with regional hub teams and local markets. The role requires a blend of multi-market, multi-channel media coordination activities, strategy support, client intelligence support, and account management.

The role is a key interface with our global clients on multi-market campaigns and projects, and your ability to funnel market understanding into clear, client-ready insights is essential. It requires a dynamic and operational skill set for strategic and media coordination activities across different markets.

We are ideally seeking a candidate with digital media knowledge who is looking to broaden their scope of cross-media skills. Key to success in this role are the skills and sensibilities of working across cultures - and a strong ability to adapt to diverse practices. We're looking for an enthusiastic, proactive candidate who, under tight deadlines, stays focused, clear-minded, and decisive. A curious, clear-minded approach and attention to detail will help you navigate the many processes and stakeholders at a global level. We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and self-motivated individual, who will be a valuable addition to our international team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the central client team to carry out day to day tasks, coordinating inputs from the regional hubs and adding value by checking and validating submitted work.
  • Ensure highest standards for key client deliverables such as status reports, ad hoc intelligence documents, and media landscape overviews and also proactively suggest improvements in both structure and content for ongoing client reports.
  • Ensure the smooth running of campaigns respecting deadlines, anticipating milestones and requirements on live campaigns are achievable, to ensure both client and agency departments are prepared in advance.
  • Working closely with media vendors to coordinate media recommendations, reviewing proposals to select the best recommendations for a particular campaign.
  • Act as knowledge centre for the client by demonstrating expertise and understanding of the local markets in a global context.
  • Support the global teams in the collection and checking of regional data and insights for inclusion in global knowledge and insight deliverables such as media landscapes, planning benchmarks, etc.
  • Support the creation of presentations and reports required by the client including gathering data & information and pulling it together in a format that is clear.
  • Provide support throughout the planning process from receipt of brief to post campaign analysis/quarterly business review.
  • Manage bi-weekly calls with regional Hubs (Apac, Latam, and Europe).
  • Support and oversee hubs quality management.
  • Supporting the team to provide best-in-class implementation and innovative online and offline solutions in response for our clients.
  • Supporting the team in ensuring timely and accurate finance process.
  • Industry Trends: Keeping up with what's happening in the world of digital and OOH, having an opinion, and proactively sharing updates.

Skills We're Looking For:

  • This is an entry level role so there is no expectation on marketing experience, however any experience with international agency is preferential.
  • Understanding of media channels and their roles in the consumer journey.
  • Clear and precise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable building relationships with clients and internal teams across cultures.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Exceptionally organized and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong internal relationship building skills with local offices and specialist units.
  • Proactive in asking questions and identifying potential issues.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative working style and desire to grow.
  • Effective under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Desire to take ownership and be accountable for outcomes.
  • Collaborative team player who is respectful and supportive.
  • Demonstrates multicultural awareness and experience working in diverse regions.
