IT Sales Manager

This position is suitable for individuals who have at least 2-3 years of experience as a sales or account manager in the IT/system house environment (B2B/enterprise sales).

Our client is a B2B system house specializing in modern workplace in Frankfurt/Main and part of an international IT group with over 8,000 employees.

The diverse portfolio includes the sale of computer hardware (mobile and desktop) and peripherals, consulting, system integration, and IT services.

Everything here revolves around Modern Workplace IT. The system house's focus lies in the integration of Apple and Windows systems in heterogeneous system environments - sometimes it's many thousands of managed workplaces or devices via MDM/device management solutions (Jamf and others).

Since its founding more than 20 years ago, the company has developed into a full-service provider known for innovative solutions, individual customer support, and the highest service quality.

The Rhein-Main location team serves renowned customers nationwide from SMEs, middle management, and DAX 30 companies.

Tasks

What you will do as an IT sales manager:

  • Independent and systematic new customer acquisition (target group B2B, from 250 employees upwards)
  • Compilation of customer-specific overall solutions around modern workplace from end devices (mobile, tablet, desktop), software, IT security, device management, IT architecture, and IT services
  • Consultation of customers in the design of new system environments and close cooperation with in-house system engineers
  • Presentation of the solutions and products of the system house to customers and interested parties
  • Maintenance and updating of the internal sales database
  • Creation of offers and documents in order processing
  • Communication and cooperation with external solution partners

This is an operational sales position in a team of about 10 colleagues from account management and sales.

Qualification

You bring (ideally) the following profile:

  • Longer practical experience in IT
  • Several years of professional experience in IT sales/account management and experience in working with top decision-makers
  • Successes in the sale of IT systems and IT services and in the conclusion of long-term contracts
  • You can proceed analytically and argue solution-oriented
  • You are communication-strong with a confident appearance, goal-oriented, and closing-oriented
  • You have a pronounced customer and service orientation
  • You have very good German language skills and can speak good English in a business and IT context
  • You come from the Rhein-Main-Neckar area, as it is a hybrid position with 3 office days in Frankfurt/M. and 2 home office days per week
