Inside Sales Account Manager

We are looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to become part of the HPE family in the Austria branch above the roofs of Vienna. In this role, you will use our products to solve the challenges of tomorrow and make our customers' IT more efficient, productive, and secure.

Your profile:

  • You are a communication star with an open, positive demeanor.

  • You show presentation and communication strength, also at management level.
  • You have a university or equivalent degree or a completed technical, engineering, or commercial education.
  • You have already gained experience as an account manager, in inside sales, or as a customer service representative within the IT industry.
  • You have one to three years of experience in the IT sales.
  • Experience in other industries or in different sales roles is desirable.
  • You have practical experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • You have very good German and English proficiency.

Your tasks:

  • Customer care of existing customers and new customer acquisition in the commercial and public segment in the sales area of Austria.
  • Proactive sales of the complete HPE product portfolio taking into account the company strategy and industry trends as well as the processing of transactional business.
  • Analysis of customer industries and competitive situations to best adapt the HPE portfolio to the needs and goals of the customer (account management).
  • Building, maintaining, and organizing projects as well as forecasting the development.
  • Participation in product campaigns to increase sales and generate new projects.
  • Close cooperation with end customers and HPE sales partners.
  • Up- and cross-selling of IT solutions to customers as part of the customer retention strategy.

We are legally obliged to quote the KV minimum salary (related to KV Handel für Angestellte) for the position with a salary of € 2,807 p.m. gross (38.5 h/w).

The role is in an OTE salary scheme (60:40, all-in; ca. 60,000 EUR p.a.)
