Job Description:

As a Services Sales Principal within CSLV, you will be responsible for maximizing our current and future Operational Services renewals and expansion revenue stream, ensuring HPE exceeds OS Sales budget. This highly strategic role involves driving customer and sales experience excellence, sponsoring critical renewals in enterprise accounts globally, ensuring customer success by aligning the right solution for the customer business objective. You will partner closely and influencing executive leadership across BU, GTM, SSP and finance to enhance service offering and expand business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Server Install Base renewal & expansion services business growth and Orders performance
  • Partner with Compute and HPC-AI Portfolio teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our service offerings, methodologies and delivery models. Ensure services offering are competitive, maximize the revenue potential, and are aligned with industry best practices
  • Partner with Operational Services GTM team to deliver business and market intelligence and creative sales programs to our sales community
  • Foster long-term strategic partnership to drive account growth and client satisfaction.
  • Provide thought leadership on Services trends, emerging technologies and best practices within industry and across the regions.
  • Define and track key performance Indicators (KPI's) to measure customer success and net dollar retention for Compute
  • Liaise with Service Delivery to optimize service expansion potential and engagement with customers
  • Key Advisor to executive management in Compute, HPC-AI and CSLV on strategic direction of business including, but not limited to, automation of the sales cycle for both direct and indirect sales motion
  • Balances short term with long term strategies and resource investment. Design profitable, customer centric, executable programs which improve our customer and sale experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to confidently communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
  • Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage statistical analysis and financial modeling.
  • Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge within at multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
  • Superior group facilitation, interviewing, and influence skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team- building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Ability to identify and draw on leading-edge analytical tools and techniques to develop creative approaches and new insights to client issues.
  • Ability to independently draft and present client deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies.

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelors degree in Marketing or Finance; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Typically 12+ years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.
  • Demonstrated Management/ Team leadership experience.
