Manager, Sales - Mena

The role is responsible for leading the team of sales in MENA region.

You'll develop new business partnerships and lead logistics providers in-country to ensure effective sales coverage, clinical adoption, quality control and brand loyalty to deliver the sales target for MENA through development of sales people & support them to achieve targets & goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the growth of revenue working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify, develop and maintain strong, collaborative, effective working relationships with key academic and community physicians as well as key opinion leaders to promote understanding, adoption, retention and loyalty for our novel diagnostic technologies.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively to manage the sales team & logistics providers in the country to ensure brand and messaging consistency, effective sales coverage, clinical adoption, quality control and brand loyalty. This includes training and joint visits with the distributor teams to increase market share of Guardant portfolio in the region.
  • In partnership with Region Head, develop and execute the go to market strategy for your assigned region.
  • Develop partnerships with leading oncologists in targeted medical centers to create evidence to support adoption and access.
  • Meeting Customers (Physicians/Surgeons/Pathologists/Molecular Oncologists) to drive the belief and adoption of broad genomic profiling across Guardant suite of tests focused on cancer diagnostics including liquid biopsy and tissue biopsy tests.
  • Drive customer engagement activities.
  • Design and implement the marketing strategies on the ground.
  • Maintain knowledge of, and generate relevant insights of ecosystem, clinical practice and relevant therapeutic area/product.
  • Strong collaboration with Medical Affairs team to drive scientific activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in a scientific field of study (Pharm.D., Master's level, Ph.D., or M.D.).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 6 years in Oncology, diagnostics experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth, sales expansion, and territory development.
  • Strong account planning, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Solid understanding of molecular diagnostics, oncology therapeutics, and the competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with payer and reimbursement models in oncology.
  • Established relationships with oncologists and healthcare stakeholders; ability to deliver immediate impact.
  • High-level customer service orientation with excellent listening, problem-solving, and communications skills.
  • Independent, results-driven, adaptable with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making ability
  • Strict adherence to all applicable codes, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
  • Extensive travel in the MENA region to visit client sites and business meetings, training and other company and customer events.
