Service Sales Specialist

In this role, you'll be part of our Service business unit in Spain, working closely with customers in a defined geographic area. You'll represent our broad and innovative service portfolio, helping clients optimize their energy infrastructure while driving growth and long-term partnerships.
The ideal candidate can be located in Cordoba or Sevilla. This role will request travels across the designated area in Spain.
How you will make an impact:
- Deliver impactful service solutions by promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added offerings that benefit both our customers and Hitachi Energy.
- Drive profitable growth by meeting and exceeding order volume targets, collaborating on pricing strategies, and securing high-value deals.
- Identify new opportunities by leveraging our full service portfolio and installed base insights to build a strong pipeline and expand market reach.
- Build trusted partnerships through a deep understanding of customer needs, promoting lifecycle solutions, and ensuring satisfaction through feedback and collaboration.
- Lead the sales process from opportunity generation to offer preparation, working closely with bid teams and managing all commercial aspects.
- Represent our brand at industry events, translating customer needs into tailored service solutions.
- Champion safety and integrity by ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and compliant service delivery.
Your background:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Solid business acumen with 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products, and services — ideally within the industrial or utility sectors.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation, risk management, and commercial/legal terms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric mindset and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
- A valid work permit in Spain.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
