Factory Sales Support Specialist

As a Factory Sales Support Specialist, you will be part of Indian Operation Center in India (INOPC), aiming to develop a global value chain, where key business activities, resources and expertise are shared across geographic boundaries in order to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across market. You will support Transformer Business for Dry Transformer Factory - Korea throughout the Sales Process.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Product Marketing Support: Supports the product marketing organization/customer in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  • Offer Preparation - Manages the preparation of all technical (e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.g. total price sheet, cash flow analysis) and if necessary project management (e.g. quantifies hours of engineering and commissioning) aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
  • Order and Billing Support: Customer creation/Change, Customer credit request, Order booking, Invoicing, Aging and payment collection basing on ERP work
  • Risk - Identifies potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels. Provides information and/or participates in the Risk Review process in accordance with policy.
  • Market intelligence: Responsible for the analysis of sales report and market intelligence essential with gathering marketing data
  • Documentation - Collects and archives documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the development process. Regularly reports the status of the bids/estimates/quotations using defined tools and collects and analyses the reasons for tenders being lost and won.
  • Administration: Manages and administrative procedures in sales processes and any business-related events
  • Compliance: Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Major in Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • 2~3 years working experience in sales and marketing function in transformer manufacturing industry as sales specialist, marketing specialist, Administrator
  • Sound knowledge using ERP/SAP, SF DC
  • Good communication skill with fluent level in verbal and written in English. Korean Language will be added advantage.
  • Sense of responsibility with full support attention to product marketing team and attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
