Sales Specialist

For our Service business unit based in Lodi we are looking for a Sales Specialist who will be responsible for generating sales opportunities within the designated areas, focusing on the installed base penetration (IB).

In collaboration with the Service Sales Manager, the Sales Specialist will implement Service sales strategy. The role involves penetrating the installed base, promoting various upgrade, retrofit, and value-add solutions to the benefit of the customer. The individual will understand the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices, prepare sales plans, review them, and propose recovery plans when needed.

The responsibilities include driving, implementing, reporting, and monitoring the progress of the service sales strategy, developing trends for identifying and winning new business, developing contract strategy and project proposals based on policies, customer requirements, budgets, and timescales ensuring they meet agreed technical standards.

The Sales Specialist will identify, discuss, review, and negotiate the contract baseline and other documents to ensure compliance with respect to maximizing the financial and operational performance. They will ensure the timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects, cooperating with technical and financial staff, legal teams, and the client's own representatives. Building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues will also be part of the role.

The required background includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or similar (technical background is required), 1-2 years of experience in Sales roles, preferably inside the industrial field. Fluency in both Italian and English (B2/C1) is required. Proactivity, resilience, customer-oriented mindset, and outstanding communication skills are also necessary.
