Sales Porter

Sales Porters are responsible for keeping vehicles and the lot of the dealership clean and orderly.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Moving vehicles as needed to different locations on the dealership lot
• Providing customer service to prospective buyers by bringing vehicles to them
• Cleaning the interiors and exteriors of vehicles
• Performing maintenance tasks, such as topping off vehicle fluids
• Placing stickers and signs on vehicles
• Cleaning the auto dealership parking lot, including picking up trash
• Starting vehicles regularly and making sure there aren't any issues with them
• Running errands for various departments, including sales, parts and auto body
• Other tasks as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Customer service skills
• Professional appearance
• Cautious driving skills

Education and Experience

• Valid driver's license
• Must at least 22 years of age to drive vehicles
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• May lift objects that weigh as much as 15 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Prolonged periods of standing
• Position works outside moving vehicles
