Sales Consultant

Holman Auto Center has a great opportunity to join our team in Beaverton, OR as a Sales Consultant. You will be selling used vehicles and working closely with our sister dealerships (BMW of Tigard and Lexus of Portland)!

What will you do?

  1. Oversee all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork.
  2. Greet customer on sales floor and perform a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.
  3. Explain features/benefits and demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.
  4. Research availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.
  5. Work with Sales Managers and F&I and negotiate sales price, lease payment, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount / rebates.
  6. Walk the lot and visually inspects inventory.
  7. Complete all paperwork and arrange for detail and delivery of vehicle.
  8. Deliver and familiarize the customer with vehicle.
  9. Maximize the customer experience.
  10. Assist Sales Manager with customer problems.
  11. Attend/complete required training and department meetings.

Education and relevant work experience:

  • High School diploma or GED; previous sales experience and college degree preferred.
  • Prior sales / customer service experience is preferred.
