As a Cytology Sales Specialist, you will combine strong scientific and laboratory knowledge with commercial skills to grow Hologic's cytology business and deliver excellent customer support. You will be the main field contact for our cytology solutions, responsible for product promotion, installations, training, troubleshooting and upselling. Working closely with KAMs, RBMs, FSEs and internal teams, you will support laboratories and decision-makers to optimize workflows and expand use of our technologies.
Support customers from pre-sale evaluation through installation, training, troubleshooting and upselling activities.
Work closely with KAMs, RBMs, FSEs and cross-functional teams to coordinate implementations and account strategies.
Coordinate and deliver product installations, user training and ongoing technical/application support, ensuring efficient and reliable lab workflows.
Build strong, long-term relationships with customers while acting as a liaison to internal teams (Technical Support, Customer Service, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Tender Office) and supporting the RBM in achieving the Sales Plan and managing territory expenses.
Act as the key field contact for Hologic's Cytology portfolio, including: ThinPrep (Gyn/Non-Gyn), Cellient, Faxitron, T2 Genesis, T5000, T5000AL, I2, Imaging System Image Processor, Genius Digital Diagnostics System and APTIMA HPV mRNA (scientific promotion only).
Spend roughly 50% of your time on training, troubleshooting and workflow support, and 50% on upselling and developing new business opportunities.
Experience in cytology, diagnostics, pathology or medical devices; sales or application specialist experience and familiarity with ThinPrep or similar platforms are strong advantages.
Promote and position Hologic cytology solutions using a consultative approach, clearly communicating clinical and workflow benefits to laboratory staff and non-technical stakeholders.
Use CRM and business applications, as well as basic Excel, Word and PowerPoint, to manage accounts, document activities and report on market and competitive insights.
Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Cytology or related life science (or equivalent experience).
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently in the field and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
