Job Title
Be responsible for developing and executing PP APAC sales strategies in Japan, to drive for higher volume and better COMA growth.
Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company standards regarding EHS and Ethics, both for self and team. Ensure full compliance with Competition Laws.
- Deliver sales plans and budgets in line with PP global/regional business strategy.
- Manage distributors with regular review meetings, to ensure distributors' sales development approach to be in line with PP business strategy.
- Look for growth opportunities in new markets and customers, work with marketing managers to evaluate these opportunities and execute plans.
- Represent Japan as a subregion by actively participating in regional activities to share insights with the team and management.
- Manage communication internally with other teams, like supply chain, technology and innovation, credit and finance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Chemical-related disciplines
- At least 10 years commercial experience.
Specific Skills and Knowledge:
Economic thinking skills, negotiating skills. Critical thinking, good communication in English. Extensive knowledge of the specialty chemical industry and some of the downstream markets.
