Job Description

Purpose

To deliver the ultimate customer experience, our presales teams have a need for support in building amazing demos.

Setting up a service to support presales through the creation of configurations, customizations, data loading, integrations, and AI-powered enhancements will make the presales teams more efficient in delivering high-quality, intelligent, and personalized demos.

Job Summary

As a Techno/Functional Consultant in the Presales Support Service team, you will support our presales teams in building demonstrations that excite our prospects and customers about the benefits our solutions deliver to their business.

The Techno/Functional Consultant will be engaged through a request process with presales teams globally. After confirming the scope and customer requirements, the consultant will take responsibility for building a high-quality building block of the demo storyline, such as an amazing lobby for a CFO, an easy-to-use custom page for a service coordinator, or a simple workflow for an HR manager. Loading customer-specific data into the demo environment will complement the demo experience, along with leveraging AI tools to enhance storytelling, automate content generation, and personalize demo scenarios.

The created building blocks will be documented and stored in a library for re-use.

Achieving this work will require passion, attention to detail, and an understanding of how to deliver high quality while also staying up to date with AI trends, tools, and data-driven approaches and will equip you with the skills for a strong future career in presales.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

• Configure custom pages, entities, attributes, events, lobbies, reports, workflows, and permissions according to presales specifications
• Transform and load customer data
• Explore and apply AI tools and automation techniques to improve demo creation and presales efficiency
• Contribute to building AI-assisted solutions such as copilots, automated workflows, and intelligent demo enhancements
• Utilize data analysis and insights to enhance demo scenarios and storytelling
• Build and maintain a library of reusable assets
• Document and record videos with work instructions and how-to guides
• Willingness to take on multiple roles and continuously expand the skillset

Overall Required Competence

• Functional and technical knowledge of IFS products is a plus
• Research new methods and ways of increasing customer experience driven by tools, including AI and data-driven technologies
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Customer-service oriented
• Understanding of a global software business
• Develops long-term stakeholder relationships; anticipates customer needs and ensures high customer satisfaction
• Design real-world solutions to customer requirements through innovative UX interactions
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and utilize data effectively

Required Education & Experience

• Appropriate postgraduate education, university degree, or equivalent professional qualifications in a relevant field (IT / Management)
• A solid duration of experience in a software company within consulting or another customer-facing group
• Work experience 3+ years in a relevant industry setting
• Strong interest and exposure to AI tools, automation, or emerging technologies
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) and local language

Desirable

• Previous experience with IFS Cloud, IFS Applications, or other ERP applications is a definite plus
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI, copilots, automation platforms)
• A Business Analyst/Consultant engaged in ERP products/systems
• Understanding of presales and sales methods and processes in a software company
• Knowledge of SQL
• Exposure to scripting
• Exposure to creating Power BI reports or hands-on experience with other analytical tools
• Ability to create functional videos through Consensus or other video editing tools
• An understanding of UX Design and application in demos
• Willingness to learn new skills (Technical, Functional, and AI-related)
