CHS Animal Nutrition has an exciting opportunity in the Midwest region for an Expert Animal Nutrition Sales Consultant. In this role, you will promote the full range of animal nutrition products, solutions, and services to commercial cattle operations and key wholesale dealer accounts. We are looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused, and goal-driven sales professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High School diploma and/or GED, 7+ years of experience in sales and business development, valid driver's license, ability to travel with overnight stays.
Bachelor's degree preferred in Animal Science Business, Communications, Marketing, or in a related field, 7+ years of animal nutrition and/or beef cattle experience preferred, experience developing marketing plans, calculating margins and profit, strong understanding of the beef and co-op dealer industry and economics, strong ability in nutrition consulting competencies such as customized profit and breakeven projections, Daylex rations, and closeout analysis, strong analytical and business acumen, proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, must meet pre-employment screening requirements, which may include drug testing, criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, physical assessment, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification, depending on role and industry standards.
