National Account Manager - Vendor Sales

The National Account Manager - Vendor Sales markets and manages highly specialized lease relationships, specifically with large vendor accounts, their sales representatives, and c-suite end user customers. This position is remote but may be hybrid if near a Huntington office. Duties & responsibilities include:

  • Creating and operationalizing marketing strategies to demonstrate the benefits of leasing.
  • Organizing and managing large vendor accounts within the Western region to generate the maximum in new lease originations.
  • Quoting transactions, providing partner reports, and shepherding partner transactions through our process.
  • Functioning as the primary interface between vendor partners and operations, risk, customer service, and collections efforts for HTF.
  • Developing and maintaining quality customer relationships.
  • Understanding the customer's needs from a technical as well as a financial perspective.
  • Working with the originations and HTF support teams to ensure the timely and accurate establishment of new customer accounts.
  • Developing and maintaining understanding of the economics of leasing transactions.
  • Proposing creative product and financial alternatives in an effort to satisfy customers' objectives.
  • Participating in seminars, applicable training, and customer briefings to maintain knowledge of products, product trends, and to reaffirm relationships with customers.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Basic qualifications include:

  • 5+ years sales experience in leasing industry with large vendor accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay)
