As a Workday Sr. Principal Services Sales Executive for our Professional Services organization, you will be responsible for planning, management, and execution of all Professional Services business development activities in your area. You will be a key team member of the Workday Pre-sales Services team, working alongside Workday Account Executives, driving Workday Subscription sales across Workday’s market segments. You’ll use your experience with consulting sales and project delivery to help prospects put together a plan for a successful project, including resources, timeline, and costs. You’ll employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Workday’s SaaS Solutions and Platform technologies as the efficient, modern alternative, and you will be a specialist in our innovative deployment methodology. You will work closely with our Service Partners to help them plan successful projects and grow their business. - Understand the competitive landscape and prospect needs so you can effectively position the value of our deployment methodology and Professional Services.
- Work with Account Executive and Customer Success Managers to resolve Services Strategy for customer accounts.
- Present Workday Customer Services overview and conduct services discovery sessions.
- Build and validate Professional Services Proposals and high-level Project Plans.
- Nurture mutually helpful relationships with Workday Service Partners.
- Assess project team training needs for prospects and customers.
- Maintain accurate and timely prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
- Handle, negotiate, and close Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work and other contractual documentation.
5+ years business, implementation consulting and/or subscription sales experience with ERP solutions HCM and Finance 4+ years exper.
