As a Technical Sales Specialist here at Illumina in Madrid, you will play a pivotal role in advancing genomic applications across diverse sectors, including research, clinical, applied genomics, and service providers. You will partner closely with our commercial team to deliver innovative solutions in areas such as transcriptomics, oncology, genetic disease testing, microbiology, and agrigenomics. This is a customer-facing role where your scientific expertise and consultative approach will help shape the future of genomic science.

You are passionate about genomics and eager to apply your technical knowledge in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You bring a strong background in molecular biology and NGS, ideally supported by a PhD in Genomics, Life Sciences, Medical, or Health Care disciplines. You are fluent in both Spanish and English and thrive in roles that combine scientific expertise with relationship-building. While prior sales experience is not essential, you are motivated by objectives and excited to join a customer-facing position. Flexibility to travel (approximately 60%) is key to success in this role.
