Sales Operations Specialist

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

Job Description

This role is based in our Nida Kule Esentepe, Şişli, İstanbul, Türkiye office.

Reports to: Sales Operations Manager - Türkiye

The Role

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you'll provide critical support to sales teams selling across multiple regions, brands, and customer segments. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to contribute to our growing Sales Operations function by delivering structured sales administration, CRM support, data analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM Management

  • Manage Salesforce (CRM) updates with sales contracts and order processing
  • Create and provide forms for sales, stand upsells, promotional opportunities, and contract creation
  • Serve as a Salesforce subject matter expert for sales teams
  • Support product setup across events, sponsorships, digital, and print offerings
  • Develop tools to increase sales operations efficiency and effectiveness

Floor Plan Management

  • Ensure event floor plans remain current through consistent communication with Sales and Operations teams
  • Handle drawing and editing responsibilities for floor plans

Sales Support

  • Assist with forecasting activities and prepare presentations for budget and strategy meetings
  • Act as key liaison between Customer Service and Operations for customer data and floor plan queries
  • Process complex contracts including Agent/Pavilion and Marketing Solutions agreements

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proactive approach to identifying process improvements
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Confident personality with interpersonal skills and high enthusiasm
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to handle and respond to internal customer queries professionally

Desired Experience

  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM
  • Previous experience in the B2B/B2C events industry
  • Familiarity with Expocad, A2Z or similar floor planning software
