The Sales Recruiter – Healthcare is responsible for driving full-cycle recruitment for high-performing sales talent within the healthcare industry. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and hiring dynamic, growth-focused sales professionals who can help advance our mission of delivering innovative healthcare solutions. Acting as a strategic partner to regional sales leaders, the Sales Recruiter combines deep industry knowledge with strong relationship-building and sourcing skills to attract top talent and elevate our healthcare sales force.

Essential Functions and Work Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment process for healthcare sales roles—from intake meetings and job postings to sourcing, interviewing, and offer creation.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales leaders to understand team structures, performance goals, and the competencies of top-performing sales professionals in the healthcare space.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify both active and passive sales talent through LinkedIn, healthcare industry networks, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Craft compelling outreach messages and conduct persuasive conversations that effectively promote the opportunity, mission, and culture of our healthcare organization.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all candidates. Provide hiring managers with tools and guidance for effective, competency-based evaluations.
  • Extend and negotiate offers, ensuring alignment with compensation guidelines, compliance policies, and candidate expectations.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of healthcare sales professionals to support current multi-regional and future organizational growth.
  • Track, analyze, and report key recruiting metrics to evaluate process efficiency and improve hiring performance.
  • Represent the organization at healthcare industry events, conferences, and professional associations to enhance our employer brand and attract top-tier talent.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies and applicable state and federal employment regulations.
  • Partner with Human Resource Department to align recruitment related policies and practices.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 3 years recruiting for sales or revenue-generating roles within healthcare.
  • Proven success recruiting high-performing sales talent in healthcare (e.g., account executives, home health/hospice/homecare, medical device representatives, pharmaceutical sales, business development).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, including regulatory requirements, relationship-driven sales, and patient-centered value propositions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools (e.g., iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience recruiting in healthcare services, health plans, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated ability to headhunt candidates and build long-term talent pipelines.
  • Familiarity with behavioral interviewing and healthcare-specific sales assessment tools.
  • Experience in high-growth or multi-site healthcare organizations.

The pay may vary depending on job related factors, such as work location, experience, knowledge, skills, education, certifications, training and internal equity.  InnovAge offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company match, short and long-term disability, life insurance, supplemental life insurance, ADD, flexible spending account, paid time off and company paid holidays.
