Sales Representative

Our client is a leading global auto component manufacturer with a rapidly expanding international footprint. They are the largest aluminum die-casting company in India and the largest 2- and 3-wheeler auto component manufacturer in the country. They provide end-to-end solutions for the automotive industry, from design and development to manufacturing and after-sales service, supporting both OEMs and the aftermarket.

About the Role

Our client is seeking Sales Representatives to drive international growth in the automotive spare parts aftermarket. The role focuses on expanding distributor and retailer networks, generating demand at the ground level, and building strong client relationships. With regional responsibilities, the position requires both independent initiative and collaboration with global teams. Guided by values of transparency, teamwork, innovation, customer centricity, and integrity, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company's global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create market demand through visits to existing and new retailers.
  • Build demand at the mechanic level by conducting local marketing activities (e.g., mechanic meets, canopy events).
  • Generate sales leads from existing and new customers/distributors in international regions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers.
  • Manage and review lead generation activities using trade portals, export data, and distributor data to increase market share.
  • Share relevant product information (catalogs, technical specifications, etc.) with customers and distributors to generate business opportunities.
  • Prepare export pricing based on market intelligence to ensure competitiveness.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by management.
  • Handle exports across all the multi-product categories.

Profile Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in B2C and B2B sales, preferably in automotive parts or related mechanical sectors.
  • Background in working with distributors in industries such as automotive, motorbikes, or spare parts (preferred).
