Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Capital Equipment Salesperson is responsible for driving revenue by selling advanced robotic automation solutions to industrial customers. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, developing effective automation proposals, and managing long-cycle, high-value sales opportunities from first contact through commissioning and follow-up.
The salesperson will work closely with the Applications Engineer, who provides the technical expertise needed to support solution development and strengthen sales and marketing strategies. Success in this role requires a consultative, relationship-driven approach and strong collaboration with engineering, applications, and service teams to deliver solutions that improve customer productivity, safety, and operational performance.

New Business Development
• Prospect and identify new customers within the assigned business segment
• Research, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities aligned with company growth objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new customer accounts
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
• Achieve an annual and quarterly new capital sales target
Opportunity & Product Development
• Identify unmet customer needs and market gaps
CRM & Sales Operations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer contacts, leads, and opportunities in HubSpot
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
• New Capital Sales revenue
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience in B2B sales, new business development, or capital equipment/solutions sales

• This is a full-time employee position.
• The job requires some travel comprising up to 50% of your time. Travel will vary depending on many factors; however, we wish to emphasize planned travel during the week and minimize weekends or long-term commitments.
• Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
• All travel expenses reimbursed at cost.
• Phone, Laptop, and all software required to perform your duties will be paid for by the company.
