Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Super Lawyers

As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Super Lawyers, you will lead, develop, and manage a team of Sales Specialists responsible for selling Super Lawyers print, merch and digital advertising solutions. Your role is to drive project and overall revenue growth, build a high-performing sales culture, and ensure consistent execution of our sales process. The RSM - Super Lawyers partners closely with our Field RSM team, senior leadership, and cross-functional partners to align strategies, achieve targets, and grow market share. This position is fully remote with travel as needed.
Core responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Coaching: Lead a team of Associate Publishers; provide structured coaching (via live and call recording reviews), ongoing feedback, and development to consistently achieve quota.
- Monitor team performance through pipeline reviews, call monitoring, and activity management, ensuring accurate forecasting and attainment of revenue targets.
- Drive accountability through data-driven performance management while fostering a positive, collaborative, and competitive sales culture.
- Mentor and support reps in consultative, solution-based selling approaches specific to attorney marketing and advertising.
- Sales & Business Growth: Own team sales performance, driving both individual and team attainment of print and digital revenue goals.
- Partner with the FindLaw sales channel to maximize project performance, partner selling, cross-sell and upsell opportunities with attorneys and law firms.
- Work closely with Associate Publishers to launch projects, new product initiatives, pitch, and close opportunities, modeling best-in-class sales execution.
- Stay informed on competitive trends and market shifts, providing actionable insights to leadership and the product team.
- Process & Execution: Ensure consistent use of the sales process, from prospecting and consultative selling to closing and client onboarding.
- Oversee accurate pipeline management and reporting in Salesforce, ensuring forecasting discipline and CRM compliance across the team.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve the customer journey.
- Lead regular team calls, one-on-ones, and joint field activities (virtual and in-person) to reinforce best practices.
- Client & Market Expertise: Ensure your team consults effectively with clients on digital and print marketing strategies, helping them achieve lead generation and visibility goals.
- Provide market intelligence on competitor offerings, regional trends, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
- Maintain a strong understanding of online marketing concepts and train your team to articulate value effectively.
Requirements include:
- 7+ years of successful B2B sales experience, including 3+ years of sales management (leading quota-carrying teams).
- Proven record of driving sales results, meeting/exceeding quota, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and motivating sales professionals in a high-activity, consultative environment.
- Expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; able to influence internal stakeholders and external clients alike.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Legal industry knowledge is a strong plus.
