Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead enterprise software sales in the Japanese market, with a focus on subscription-based solutions. This role demands a sharp commercial mind, the ability to uncover and address complex customer challenges, and the skill to navigate decision-making structures with confidence. You will combine strong presentation, listening, and analytical abilities with a genuine commitment to delivering customer value, driving growth in a sector where your expertise will make a direct impact.

Essential Skills

  • Enterprise sales fundamentals and experience
  • Logical thinking skills
  • Ability to identify and understand customer challenges
  • Clear and persuasive presentation skills
  • Ability to identify key decision-makers and blockers within the customer organization and address them effectively
  • Strong questioning and listening skills to uncover critical information from customers
  • Experience in selling subscription-based software
  • Solid IT literacy
  • Understanding of subscription business models
  • Ability to understand the strengths and weaknesses of our software and position it effectively with customers

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of the utility/power/infrastructure sector
  • Knowledge of mapping/GIS

  • Takes full ownership of outcomes, including responsibility for setbacks and failures
  • Highly attuned to customer value, with a clear sense of what truly benefits the customer
