We are looking for a Sales Executive based in Hong Kong, with a genuine interest in the area of Sustainable and Responsible investments, including all aspects of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research and topics, along with a proven track record of revenue outperformance in the Financial Services industry.

In this role, you will be working as Asia ex Japan ESG and Governance Solutions Sales, responsible for selling the full range of Stewardship, Governance and ESG Solutions to existing clients and asset owners, investment managers, insurance, banks and hedge fund prospects.

As the Sales Executive, you will be part of a high-performance sales organization that provides valuable data, analytics, and insight to the financial community on corporate governance, environmental and social (ESG) practices of the world's leading corporations. Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue and renewal goals
  • Identify and close sales prospects and up sales with existing clients
  • Maintain current book of ISS business by establishing relationships with client product managers and decision makers
  • Grow ISS' market share, recognition and perception within the asset owner, investment management, insurance, banks and hedge fund community
  • Continuously assess market opportunities, define, and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management
  • Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting
  • Work closely with ISS Product and Marketing managers to define products, services, and marketing plans
  • Build and maintain senior relationships amongst existing clients and prospects
  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system
  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in institutional sales
  • Excellent presentational skills and inter-personal relationships
  • Knowledge and understanding of Investment Stewardship and Responsible Investment and market infrastructure, including regulatory drivers are a plus
  • Innovative, customer-oriented thinker able to identify and execute on market opportunities
  • Highly systematic, organized, and prioritized approach to sales effort in territory
  • Absolute personal and business integrity
  • Native or proficiency in English required with additional fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese language
  • Willingness to travel
