Western Regional Sales Manager, Allen & Heath U.S.A

The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for supporting all the sales representatives, dealers and end users within given territory for Allen & Heath products. The Western Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales for Allen & Heath U.S.A.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of Allen & Heath sales and margin goals on a monthly basis.
  • Monthly reporting of sales achievement.
  • A minimum of 50% travel is required throughout the territory.
  • Management and motivation of all independent sales representative firms within territory.
  • Continual education of key accounts and Consultants.
  • Gather competitive data and generate comparative analysis on our existing and new products compared to the competition.
  • Provide training curriculum to teach sales rep and dealers on how to sell, demo, configure, and install systems.
  • In-field sales support.
  • Conduct PowerPoint presentations approved by VP of Sales.
  • Call on Consultants, independent studios, etc.
  • Distribute and implement sales kits for Sales Reps in conjunction with VP Sales.
  • Gather information and requests for needed features and enhancements to current product and relay to VP Sales.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Organize and conduct regional training events in partnership with key accounts and sales reps.
  • Travel with Sales Reps as required for dealer trainings or sales trips.
  • Interface directly with dealers, design engineers, end users and consultants in helping them to design and implement our products and systems.
  • Be responsible for specific projects from the initial quoting and design stage to final end user acceptance.
  • Enforce and promote specific sales promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Field sales experience of 5 to 7 years preferably in the MI Industry with relevant dealer relationships in the territory.
  • Strong understanding of AM&S range of products and the Pro Audio Industry.
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting to reach sales goals.
  • Excellent working skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and use of advanced selling skills, including consultative selling and use of relationship selling, and executive selling.
  • Demonstrates executive selling skills, including ability to gain access to key decision-makers.
  • Ability to negotiate and close the sale in a minimum amount of time.
