Regional Sales Manager
JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of territory sales managers, taking continuous actions to maximize sales within your region and territory by pursuing new sales opportunities within current and prospective customers. By continually maintaining a professional image of the company, in this role, you should be able to display passion and in-person presentation skills. This person will report directly to the VP, Sales – Vinyl US.
Region/Territory: Region includes southwest and western United States. The territory includes Arizona, California, and Nevada – Prefer candidate to reside in Phoenix Metro Area, Arizona.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist VP, Sales – Window strategy and development.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor sales team.
- Monitor sales performance, motivate the team, and address issues as they arise.
- Conduct mid-year and annual reviews.
- Develop and achieve annual sales forecast and manage expenses.
- Aggressively pursue and secure new sales opportunities.
- Manage accounts and contacts, identify, and track opportunities, manage leads, and communicate pertinent information.
- Assist with dispute resolution.
- Provide product and solution expertise.
- Focus efforts on high selling activities to improve sales efficiency and productivity.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the window and door or building supply industry.
- Ability to lead by example and with empathy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management Software, Electronic Pricing Catalogue, Other Electronic Pricing Methods (MQS/M2O, etc.), Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser.
The employee will be required to travel in support of sales, training, and service management. Overnight travel will be required.
