Global Practice Recruiter – MedTech Complex Capital Sales
We are searching for the best talent for our Global Practice Recruiter – MedTech Complex Capital Sales position. This position can be located at one of our MedTech sites located in Raritan, NJ: New Brunswick, NJ; Cincinnati, OH; Santa Clara, CA; Irvine, CA; Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Jacksonville, FL; West Chester, PA; Raynham, MA; Danvers, MA, Warsaw, IN or at one of our hubs in Tampa, FL or New Brunswick NJ.
The Global Practice Recruiter – MedTech Complex Capital Sales will be responsible for shaping and delivering talent acquisition strategies for global Capital Sales across multiple business units and product platforms within the MedTech space. This role will be within our MedTech Practice Talent Acquisition team and report directly to the Manager, TA - Complex Capital Commercial.
This highly collaborative and results focused individual will play a critical role partnering closely with Senior Business and HR leaders, Total Rewards, Global Services HR, Corporate Services HR and Business Unit HR to develop and deliver talent acquisition insights and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate the strategies of the business into talent access deliverables including recruitment, innovating, talent pipeline cultivation, market maker capabilities and outreach, and optimizing the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Drive the talent acquisition strategy and consistently represent the TA story through metrics to HR leadership and appropriate business partners.
- Utilize a deep understanding of J&J MedTech's long and short-term strategies, with special focus on its different growth drivers and innovation pipeline. Apply deep acumen, including knowledge of industry and functional area to coach and influence hiring managers in the most critical talent insights.
- Stay largely connected with the external Complex Capital Sales community, positioning oneself and the team as established professionals with deep expertise, strong business network, relevant social media presence, knowledge and attendance of events and seminars. This position will be heavy commercial recruitment and pipeline building from industry competitors.
- Leverages talent sourcing strategies and channels to ensure the Company will find elite talent utilizing Global Talent Management strategies.
- Serve as a talent consultant to the business, HR, and candidates and influences and/or challenges traditional approaches to talent acquisition.
- Cultivate a high level of candidate care & service during all stages of the recruiting process. Craft long term relationships by acting as a career mentor and becoming part of his/her network while building a healthy pipeline of passive talent for future opportunities.
- Serve as an ambassador for our Inclusion strategy and foster a culture of inclusion within the team and the broader J&J organization.
- Integrate internal talent availability and external trends into a compelling talent narrative to drive data-based decisions while observing emerging talent priorities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct, relevant and recent business experience required.
- Experience and ability to present to a Sr. Leader level audience is required.
- The ability to translate a business strategy into an actionable recruiting strategy is required.
- Strong experience in direct sourcing (i.e. developing and executing creative candidate identification strategies, which result in delivery of high-caliber, professional & executive talent) is required.
- Demonstrated, successful experience in developing an impactful, comprehensive recruiting strategy to address critical capability gaps and/or new capabilities for the organization is required.
- Global talent perspective and experience working in a highly matrixed environment is required.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit in a competitive environment and ability to negotiate and advise on complex compensation packages required.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), influencing and negotiation skills are required, as is strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills with thorough attention to detail is required.
- Excellent assessment and interviewing skills and a strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments and processes are preferred.
- Proficiency with various applicant management and applicant tracking systems is preferred.
- Experience in utilizing metrics regularly to track and maintain performance is required.
- Understanding of legal issues that impact global recruiting activities, namely employment contract law and restrictive covenants.
Preferred:
- Experience leading talent networking events preferred.
- Experience leading large scale data analysis strongly preferred.
- Willing to travel up to 15%, as needed

The base pay range for this position is $91,000 - $147,200. For California Bay area-based candidates, the base pay range for this position is $105,000 - $169,050.
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
