J&J Innovation Medicine has been growing very strongly over the past decade and will continue to do so. In order to accelerate our growth, we call for a transformation that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales force to increase its competitiveness and implement customer-centric sales force activities that anticipate future changes in the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • J&J-IM Sales Force Competitiveness Analysis: Conducting a counter-competitive analysis based on multifaceted data analysis to objectively report the competitiveness of the sales force to Management Committees (MCs) and Business Units (BUs).
  • Sales Force KPI Identification and Validation: Identify KPIs that maximize business impact based on multifaceted analysis, make improvement recommendations to MCs and BUs, and lead cross-functional efforts to resolve them.
  • Sales Force Strategy Design: Lead cross-functionally in developing a comprehensive strategy (including OMNI approach) to achieve a customer-centric sales force and measures to achieve it.
  • Communications Strategy Building and Leading: Build and personally lead a communications strategy to achieve sales force impact and efficiency by managing MC, BUs, CEs, and other stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or more.

  • Skills:
    • Data Analysis Skills: Able to analyze multifaceted data using a variety of methods to draw quantitative conclusions.
    • Logical Thinking: Ability to identify and prioritize business issues in a systematic and logical manner using appropriate business frameworks.
    • IT skills: Particularly high level of IT skills for Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Project management skills:
    • Communication Skills: Comprehensive information gathering and collaboration using professional communication skills (PSS, DiSC, etc.). Also able to develop high-level discussions with stakeholders and negotiate constructively.
    • Language skills: Business level Japanese and English. English: TOEIC 800 level and can communicate smoothly in English for business purposes.
  • Experience/Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of SFE domain, especially Salesforce analysis experience, is desirable.
    • Knowledge of data analysis methods and business frameworks
    • Knowledge of business models and futuristic outlook for pharma and other industries
  • *3+ years of experience in the pharma industry preferred.
  • Others: (If any)
    • Analytical skill: More than 3 years experience as an analyst.
    • People development skills: Appropriate approach and capability development of members by showing the high professionals, enhance the successor.
  • Compliance: Acquiring and practicing knowledge of the latest compliance (HCC, SOP, Expense and HR rules).
