Our Global Sales Operations team is seeking a BI & Analytics Analyst to join our growing team. This role will work closely with other members of the Global Sales Operations team as well as leadership, with a key focus on producing a growing array of BI solutions (dashboards, reports, apps, AI, ML, etc.). The role will be accountable for building effective analytical products and be able to transform data into meaningful business insights. The outcome of the Analyst - Sales Operations is to enable the business to make data-informed decisions, which are based on insightful analytics, to help drive incremental sales and revenue growth.
The Analyst - Sales Operations will play a vital role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic planning for the organization. This role will lead the analysis and interpretation of complex data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support key business initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management, the Analyst - Sales Operations will identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimize business performance and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis and advanced analytics tools, with the ability to help guide the development and implementation of analytical strategies and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and gather data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Analyze large datasets using advanced statistical techniques, machine learning, and data mining algorithms.
- Interpret complex data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business performance.
- Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand business objectives and challenges, translating them into actionable analytical projects.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making and drive business growth.
- Conduct scenario analysis and predictive modeling to evaluate the potential impact of different strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
- Automate routine reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in reporting and data visualization.
- Establish and maintain data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data infrastructure and maintain data dictionaries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, sales, and operations, to understand their data needs and support their analytical requirements.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role, with experience in advanced data analysis and modeling techniques.
- Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Admin level proficiency in Salesforce.com (certification a plus, but not a requirement).
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and modeling techniques.
- Proficient in database management principles and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
