Account Executive

We are seeking to identify a suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Account Executive. The Account Executive is responsible for developing and executing individual account strategies to build customer retention and growth within assigned markets.

Key responsibilities include: planning and prioritizing existing customer account management, collaborating with the customer support team to create outcomes and customer success, operating as the primary payment point of contact for customers, building and maintaining a portfolio of customers through active account management and sales activities, developing account plans using a consultative sales approach, holding regular business update meetings with appropriate customer personnel, maintaining sales forecasting data, closing business to meet forecast commitments and sales quotas, building relationships proactively with all accounts, becoming a trusted advisor, building and maintaining strong relationships with all key stakeholders in existing and new accounts to ensure their long-term success, coordinating sales effort with marketing, sales management, product management, and technical service group, participating in creating proposals and RFP responses to potential clients, staying abreast of current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services, and preparing and presenting reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Qualifications include: a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, 2+ years of sales or account management experience (industry-specific experience preferred), strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills and attributes include: client focused, self-directed, and motivated, excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills (English) with proven ability to effectively engage with and present to senior level executives, fluent in written and spoken Spanish, experience managing multiple accounts, strong analytical and issue resolution skills, good product and industry knowledge including market trends and competitive intelligence, ability to conceptualize and build value propositions that deliver a compelling message to clients, and ability to build credible and influential client relationships.
