Jobget Sales Development Representative

As the full-cycle sales development representative (SDR) at Jobget, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from generating new business to nurturing existing customer relationships. This includes prospecting new leads, qualifying opportunities, conducting discovery calls, closing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction for long-term retention. Your contributions will play a key role in refining and testing sales strategies for our SMB products. This role will begin at 40 hours a week for 2 weeks, with the possibility to extend. The hourly rate for this role is between USD $5.50 - $6.50/hour.

Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage new business opportunities within SMBs across various industries. Use cold calls, emails, and social media to initiate contact and generate interest in Jobget's solutions.
  • Qualification of Leads: Qualify leads through discovery calls to ensure prospects are a good fit for Jobget's products. Understanding the prospects challenges and needs.
  • Close Deals: Handle objections, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements with prospects. Guide prospects through the final stages of the sales funnel, ensuring a smooth transition from contract to implementation.

Customer Retention

  • Onboarding & Customer Support: Assist in the onboarding process of new customers, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation. Provide ongoing support to help customers maximize the value of Jobget's products.
  • Relationship Building: Nurture ongoing relationships with customers, addressing any concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Identify Upsell & Cross-Sell Opportunities: Work closely with the Customer Success team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional Jobget products to existing customers.
  • Customer Feedback & Success: Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure customers are successfully utilizing Jobget's products and remain engaged long term.

Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track KPIs: Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as lead generation, meetings scheduled, opportunities created, and closed deals.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent movement of leads through the sales process.
  • Regular Reporting: Provide weekly reports on sales activities, conversion rates, and customer retention efforts, identifying areas for improvement.

Collaboration & Feedback

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and optimize the lead-to-customer conversion process.
  • Provide Feedback: Regularly provide feedback from customer interactions to help refine Jobget's products and sales strategies.
  • Insights & Suggestions: Contribute valuable insights on market trends, customer pain points, and competitive positioning to support the development of new features and solutions.

Who You Are

  • Your country of residence is India.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably for a job board/job advertising company or similar industry.
  • Be available to work from 9 AM - 5 PM EST.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with both prospects and existing customers.
  • Experience in cold calling, email outreach, and using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage leads and customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with the SMB market and understanding of their challenges and needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to sales and service.
