Commercial Account Executive

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Commercial Account Executive in the United States. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive revenue and build meaningful relationships within the SMB and mid-market segments. As a full-cycle, quota-carrying Account Executive, you will manage a high-volume pipeline, engaging with clients to understand their operational and ministry goals while presenting tailored software solutions. You will balance strategic prospecting with consultative selling, guiding clients through the entire sales process from discovery to close. This position combines autonomy, collaboration, and mission-driven work, with a strong focus on customer success, relationship-building, and process discipline. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, highly organized, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic sales environments that reward performance, initiative, and integrity.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and manage a pipeline of 60–100+ active deals within a defined territory, generating both new logo and expansion revenue
  • Conduct high-quality discovery calls and tailored product demonstrations to understand and address client needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including proposals, negotiation, and handoff to relationship management teams
  • Build consultative, trusted relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders across client organizations
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline hygiene, prioritizing deals strategically and communicating risks proactively
  • Actively participate in coaching, call reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster team-wide growth and improvement

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS or software sales experience with consistent achievement of targets
  • Strong pipeline management skills with a high-activity, process-driven approach
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to a variety of client personalities and contexts
  • Proficiency in using sales technology such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, and other CRM or sales enablement tools
  • Growth mindset with receptiveness to feedback and ability to apply coaching to improve results
  • Preferred: experience selling to faith-based, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations; familiarity with structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Sandler, Challenger, SPICED, etc.)
