Director, Sales Strategy And Client Services

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the client services and sales strategy function in a dynamic, fast-growing digital media environment. You will be responsible for driving client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth by building high-performing teams, optimizing campaign strategies, and leveraging data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will partner closely with sales leadership to design compelling client solutions across digital and emerging AI-driven advertising platforms. This role combines strategic planning, operational rigor, and creative problem-solving to ensure campaigns deliver measurable results. You will also act as a mentor and coach, developing talent and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Success in this role will directly influence both client outcomes and organizational growth.

Accountabilities

  • Team Development & Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of account managers, fostering growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Sales Strategy & Pre-Sale Support: Lead development of pitches, proposals, and collateral, providing strategic guidance for digital, mobile, and video advertising campaigns. Conduct research and case studies to create compelling client success stories.
  • AI & Innovation Adoption: Stay current on AI-driven advertising trends and help translate opportunities into actionable client solutions.
  • Campaign Lifecycle Management: Oversee complex digital campaigns, including display, OTT, pre-roll video, and custom sponsorships, ensuring accurate delivery and optimization.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, providing strategic guidance, performance reporting, and actionable insights.
  • Revenue Growth & Cross-Functional Coordination: Support sales with upselling, renewals, and incremental budgets while liaising with internal teams to solve technical issues and enhance client experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in client-facing roles, ideally in digital media, programmatic advertising, or sales strategy.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, including display, video, OTT, and programmatic platforms.
  • Analytical and measurement expertise, with hands-on experience in digital reporting tools, ROI analysis, and brand lift studies.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills, including talent development, performance management, and scalable process creation.
  • Sales marketing and communication skills, capable of building compelling presentations, media plans, and proposals under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable and forward-thinking, with a strong interest in AI-driven advertising solutions.
  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree a plus.
