Sales Manager

We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive sustainable growth and profitability within a defined territory, focusing on complex, high-technology solutions. This role requires ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and developing new business to managing key accounts and executing large projects. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong customer relationships, understand technical and commercial needs, and deliver results in revenue, order intake, and margin growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution while providing strategic market insights to support regional and global sales planning. Accountabilities:

  • Define and execute a territory sales plan aligned with broader regional and global strategies
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned market segments
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including commercial negotiations, quotations, and contracts
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic customers
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM data, and regular reporting on sales activities and performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal/regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; additional business or technical qualifications a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of proven commercial sales experience with high-tech products in materials science, microelectronics, or related fields
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue, order intake, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Solid technical understanding to translate customer needs into value-based solutions
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and capable of managing complex sales cycles
  • Proficiency in CRM, ERP, and MS Office tools
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
