Job Description

We are looking for a professional and customer-oriented sales assistant to join our team in Busnago, in the province of Milan. This is a position with 24-hour shifts that plays a fundamental role in supporting our sales operations and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal person will be efficient, organized and able to give their best in a dynamic retail environment, maintaining high standards of professionalism throughout the shift.

• Provide excellent customer service assisting customers with product inquiries, advice and purchases
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and manage cash, card, and digital payments
• Maintain accurate inventory records and collaborate on stock management, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise
• Support the sales team by preparing displays, organizing product information, and ensuring the sales area is clean and well-organized
• Handle customer requests and resolve issues professionally and courteously, escalating complex matters to superiors when necessary
• Perform required opening and closing procedures for 24-hour shifts, including cash reconciliation and security checks
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and pricing to provide accurate information to customers
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail, sales, or customer service
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts and adapt to flexible work schedules
• Capability to handle cash transactions accurately and ensure financial integrity
• Problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift merchandise as needed
• Multilingual skills (especially Italian and English preferred)
• Proven reliability and punctuality
