Team Leader – Sales & Banking Operations

About the team
The Sales & Banking Operations department ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial settlements – from sales reconciliation and payment recording to reporting financial operations in multiple countries. It is a team that combines accounting expertise with a modern approach to processes.
The role of Team Leader in the Sales & Banking Operations department is a combination of daily operational support and team leadership. The person in this position will be responsible for both performing accounting tasks within assigned processes and for effectively managing, developing, and motivating their team.
This is an excellent role for a leader who can combine commitment to daily operational work with the ability to build a team and improve processes in a dynamic, international SSC environment.
Your tasks include:
- Daily team management – planning, organizing, and supervising the work of team members,
- Timely completion of operational tasks, including performing your own accounting duties,
- Monitoring and settling open positions in bank settlements and reconciling sales,
- Participation in transition processes – readiness for international trips and supporting countries served by SFC,
- Recruitment, development, and maintenance of the team, including organizing regular team meetings, one-on-one (1:1) meetings, and ad hoc meetings,
- Creating and updating operational job descriptions in the team,
- Achieving KPIs and SLA agreements in line with the organization’s goals,
- Participating in internal and external audits,
- Ensuring the continuity of daily team operations and the proper flow of information between departments,
- Monitoring changes in financial regulations and guidelines published by JYSK Finance,
- Identifying and implementing improvements in accounting processes and promoting best practices,
- Providing operational support to the team in ongoing tasks,
- Motivating and developing the competencies of team members,
- Participating in internal and external training to enhance the qualifications of yourself and your team.
Qualifications:
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields,
- Completed leadership training or readiness for further development in leadership,
- Current knowledge of accounting and taxes, and good understanding of accounting principles,
- Ability to use accounting software and very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel,
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position (Team Leader / Process Lead),
- English language proficiency at B2 level, enabling free communication in an international environment,
- Additional industry certifications and training (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, SKwP) are desirable.
- Knowledge of SAP and experience with transitional processes.
