Senior Accountant Sales & Banking Operations

Our JYSK Shared Services Centre is expanding its Shared Finance Center team and is looking for someone who wants to combine solid accounting experience with development in an international environment.

The Sales & Banking Operations Department takes care of the accuracy and timeliness of financial settlements – from reconciling sales and recording payments, to reporting financial operations in many countries. It is a team that combines accounting competencies with a modern approach to processes.

Your tasks:

• Reconciliation of cashier reports and verification of sales data accuracy,
• Reconciliation of sales between financial and accounting systems and payment terminals,
• Recording of bank statements and reconciliation of account balances,
• Settlement of sales from e-commerce channels and monitoring of revenues from sales platforms,
• Settlement of employee expenses, including service cards and delegations,
• Preparation and execution of payments to counterparties and employees,
• Cooperation with the Sales and Controlling department in terms of reconciliation of financial data and reporting,
• Participation in the month-end closing process and preparation of financial reports,
• Ongoing cooperation with the Customer Service and B2B department in terms of verification and reconciliation of sales data.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Higher education in economics (completed economic technical school is desirable),
• Completed course of independent/go accountant or equivalent training in accounting,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the financial department or SSC,
• Desirable experience in the area of process transitions and in the retail industry,
• Very good knowledge of English (at least B2 level) enabling free communication in an international environment,
• Very good knowledge of Polish at least at B2 level,
• Very good knowledge of MS Office 365, especially Excel,
• Practical knowledge of SAP ERP / S4HANA systems,
• High organizational skills and a focus on streamlining processes,
• Characterized by accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work with large amounts of data.
