To gain market share in the Cardiovascular Perfusion and ECLS business by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic's products in an assigned territory as well as to manage the achievement of unit and revenue goals within the respective territory.
Achieve overall sales AOP with a critical emphasis to achieve AOP in ALL new ECLS product buckets. (ECLS Cannula, ECLS VitalFlow, ECLS Perfusion)
Develop, implement and effectively follow through with a quarterly strategic sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Create a detailed forecast with customer commitments as a measure of success.
Identify, qualify, and close new and existing customers consistent with established sales plans and key accounts.
Develop and maintain a strong and personable relationships with key customers in order to leverage these relationships into profitable business.
Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in Cardiopulmonary/Cardiac procedures and ECMO/ECLS related clinical topics.
Must be able to in-service and provide basic clinical support on all ECT/ECLS products in an autonomous fashion in order to provide initial and on-going educational support and training to customers irrespective of Clinical Specialist support.
Work collaboratively with your ECLS Clinical Specialist to support our customers. Position will require customer product/therapy related triage to address acute ECT/ECLS questions/concerns.
Provide feedback and information on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution and pricing.
Identify and communicate to other departments (i.e. R&D, Operations and Marketing) suggestions for new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications based upon customer needs and requirements.
Actively Identify and facilitate customer attendance at education programs and Key Customer visits.
Coordinate customer activities at all assigned meetings.
Train and educate both existing and competitive customers in order to gain incremental business, as well as advise customers on the performance of product portfolio.
Complete all administrative reporting accurately, in a timely manner and in the requested format (i.e. expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, weekly activity, competitive updates, mPowers, mPxrs, FCA's, PHO's, Teams spreadsheet request, Trunk Stock, Salesforce inputs).
Ensure input and accuracy of daily CRM (ie.Salesforce) ECT/ECLS activity report.
Manage time, assets and resources in a cost-effective manner; manage territory budget in accordance with the strategic territory plan and within the guidelines of the Regional Manager.
Assist where applicable in the management of customer inventory including BO's.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, all divisions' products, and the products of competitive companies; gain knowledge of the strategies of our competitors through interactions with others.
Participates in training when appropriate.
Must have:
Bachelor's degree
5 years medical industry sales experience (selling physician preference products) in hospital environment with selling to cardiac surgeons and/or perfusionist/ECLS clinical staff or 7 years as an active clinical perfusionist **,** Respiratory Therapist, RN with ECMO experience, (ECMO Coordinator a plus)

Physical job requirements:
Frequent required travel to customer clinics, hospitals and offsite meetings.
Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings.
This position may require on-call time.
Continuous verbal and written communication.
Ability to transport product/equipment from car to hospital on your own.
Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day.
Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease and radiation.
Ability to travel extensively with ease to attend conferences, customer education events and training. (approx. 20% of the time).
Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory.
Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.
Must live in the specified Sales Territory.
