The Taschenbergpalais was built in the 18th century by the famous Saxon Elector Augustus the Strong for his mistress Countess Cosel. Destroyed in the Second World War and rebuilt in 1995, it now combines historical splendor and contemporary elegance. The Palais am Taschenberg has 180 rooms and 32 suites and offers culinary excellence in five very different and unique restaurants, cafes and bars. In addition to a spa lounge, there are six conference rooms of different sizes with a fantastic view of Dresden's historic city center. In our Kurfürstensaal we welcome our guests to balls and gala dinners.
