Investment Specialist

As an Investment Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of investment products to our branch banking customers. Your role will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals, and offering tailored investment solutions. You will work closely with our banking team to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis for customers and provide suitable investment recommendations.
  • Stay updated with market trends and product knowledge to offer expert advice.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of referrals and leads for business growth.
  • Collaborate with branch managers and relationship managers to cross-sell investment products.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies during sales processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support to retain clients.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in investment sales or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, including mutual funds, equities, and fixed income.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM systems.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends.
  • A self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with market developments.
  • Valid certifications or licenses related to investment sales (e.g., NISM certifications) are preferred.
