✨ About The Role

- The Sales Commercial Manager will be responsible for selling a disruptive technology solution in the commodities market in China - Daily tasks include making contacts through emails, chats, and phone calls, setting up meetings with senior decision-makers, and maintaining accurate customer and sales information in the CRM - The role involves engaging with internal teams like pre-sales and research to onboard new users and provide solutions to clients - Ideal candidates will have experience in the commodity space, selling game-changing data solutions in the freight and maritime industry, and/or commodities sector in China - The position requires a proactive approach to maintaining and building client relationships through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.

⚡ Requirements

- Around 5-7 years of working experience in a sales role, preferably in the maritime/shipping/freight sales or energy market - Native Chinese with a good level of English and excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate with prospects and clients - Experience in selling solutions in the Maritime/Shipping/Freight, Energy, Commodities sectors, or B2B SaaS/data solutions - Strong interest in building client and product knowledge, with a driven and self-disciplined work ethic - Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, ever-changing environments, with excellent customer service, listening, and negotiation skills
