As a Regional Director of Channel Sales you will be responsible for leading and executing the regional channel sales strategy through effective leadership of Area Sales Managers, dealer network development, and customer engagement. This role drives revenue growth, dealer performance, and market expansion while ensuring consistent execution of company programs and values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership, direction, and management support to all regional sales and support personnel.
  • Achieve assigned regional performance targets, including sales revenue, dealer recruitment, and dealer development quotas.
  • Lead, coach, and support Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to ensure sales budget attainment and strategic execution.
  • Partner with ASMs to establish, expand, and maintain a high-performing dealer network within assigned territories.
  • Drive dealer development and growth initiatives to maximize revenue, market penetration, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure consistent implementation and utilization of company programs, initiatives, and promotions through training and field execution.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage regional sales and support staff, including performance management and development planning.
  • Conduct regular field visits with ASMs and dealers to provide sales support, coaching, and relationship development.
  • Act as a senior sales consultant by building relationships with new customers and maintaining key client partnerships.
  • Monitor sales pipelines, regional performance metrics, and market trends to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of weekly, monthly, and special sales reports; hold ASMs accountable for data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, finance, and customer support to resolve issues and support dealer success.
  • Uphold company values, compliance standards, and promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in B2B channel or indirect sales environments.
  • Proven experience in a regional or multi-territory sales leadership role managing Area Sales Managers or similar field leaders.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales revenue, dealer recruitment, and dealer development goals.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong background in dealer or partner network development.
  • Must be willing and able to spend approximately 70% of working time in the field supporting ASMs, dealers, and customers.
  • Extensive regional travel, including overnight stays, is required.
  • Deep understanding of channel sales models and dealer ecosystems.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance and market trends.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
