As a Commercial Sales Support Specialist, you will manage accounts relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage daily customer quotations.
  • Negotiate plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts.
  • Responsible for some of the order entry, order maintenance, and management of order delivery process.
  • Manage weekly bid schedule.
  • Prioritize projects and communicates bid date and time, co-coordinating quoting responsibilities and objectives with Commercial Territory Managers.
  • Manage quote follow-up process including updating weekly open quote reports, updating CRM to reflect quote status and coordination with 3rd party vendors.
  • Assist in credit and collection activities.
  • Manage the order credit approval process to avoid delays and past due orders.
  • Prepare and manage submittals and orders accurately, reducing manual overrides and allowances.
  • Coordinate and manage quotes and orders within guidelines for residential districts.

What We Are Looking For:

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year related experience.
  • Strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

What We Offer:

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $61,600- $88,850 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 90% base salary and 10% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
