The Emergency Replacement Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with service managers who support emergency HVAC replacement needs across District and Commercial segments. This role focuses on identifying and closing new opportunities, supporting inventory turnover, and ensuring customers have timely access to available equipment when urgent replacement needs arise. The ER Sales Specialist works closely with Territory Managers and internal sales teams to expand market share and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new emergency replacement sales opportunities through proactive outreach to high-potential accounts as well as inbound customer requests.
  • Drive sufficient unit and tonnage sales to support inventory turnover and help maximize factory production capacity.
  • Monitor available inventory and provide customers and prospects with timely and accurate updates on product availability.
  • Partner with Territory Managers to identify emergency replacement opportunities and support execution of territory sales strategies.
  • Leverage existing relationships with mechanical contractors to build connections with service managers and expand the ER customer base across both new and existing accounts.
  • Increase share of wallet within high-potential accounts by delivering exceptional customer service and developing a strong understanding of the emergency replacement market.
  • Collaborate with Account Advocates and Sales Representatives to support larger or more complex opportunities.
  • Work with Inside Sales and Lead Generation teams to pursue qualified leads that align with the emergency replacement customer profile.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related sales or customer-facing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, actively listen, influence decisions, negotiate effectively, and manage time efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including product promotion, demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales performance tracking.
  • Understanding of customer service principles, including assessing customer needs, delivering high-quality service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Intermediate knowledge of industry products and solutions, or the ability to quickly learn and apply technical product information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $65,600 - $86,100 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 70% base salary and 30% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
