Sales Associate – Orlando, FL

Do you love talking to fellow boaters and helping them bring their boat improvement dreams to life? Are you a natural closer who thrives on custom projects and creative problem-solving? If so, we want you on our sales team! We’re seeking a Sales Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by base salary plus commission-based earning potential. You’ll focus on selling unique and mainly custom boating accessories and upgrades—such as custom dash panels, tackle storage units, and more. A dedicated customer service team handles service calls, tracking questions, and warranty issues, so you can focus entirely on building relationships and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers to understand their project goals and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Manage and close sales opportunities for both standard products and custom projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project feasibility and timely execution.
  • Translate customer needs into quotes and proposals while clearly communicating value.
  • Follow up on leads, quotes, and inquiries to maximize your pipeline.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge to confidently address technical questions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process—from first contact through order placement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven sales ability with a passion for helping customers find the right solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills—phone, email, and in-person.
  • Interest in or experience with boats and boating accessories preferred.
  • Prior experience or hobby experience in boating is highly desirable, not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with custom projects.
  • Ability to understand basic technical drawings/dimensions (engineering mindset is a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no nights or weekends).
  • Compensation: Base salary + commission.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to industry trade shows.
