Territory Sales Representative (Industrial Equipment)

Location: Orlando, FL (Home-Based with Local Office Access) Travel: Up to 45%

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative with industrial sales experience—ideally in forklifts, material handling, or heavy equipment. This role is responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with existing accounts in the Orlando, FL region. This is a home-based position with a local office available for collaboration and occasional reporting. Travel throughout the assigned territory is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow customer relationships within manufacturing, warehousing, and industrial environments
  • Prospect and penetrate industrial accounts by calling on Safety Managers, Plant Managers, Engineers, and Maintenance professionals
  • Conduct on-site assessments and recommend appropriate equipment and solutions based on customer needs
  • Prepare and present proposals, provide pricing, and guide customers through the full sales cycle
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and project information from quote to installation
  • Attend local and national industry trade shows as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Build a strong referral network to increase lead flow and expand market reach

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial or capital equipment sales
  • Experience in forklift, material handling, safety systems, or heavy equipment sales is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated success in solution-based selling and managing a full sales cycle
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and territory management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
